General description

The PORAVER® products are produced by Dennert Poraver GmbH. They are produced with a patented process of the very dynamically developing German company from 100% selectively collected glass.

Thus porous glass granule is produced from recycled glass. Glass granules of larger grain sizes are also called foam gravel.

It is an extremely light aggregate marketed in 10 different grain sizes. Many fields of application are known, especially in the construction industry:

• plasters, mortars, penetrating primers, pastes
• walls and lightweight concrete elements with good mechanical properties
• acoustic boards, noise protection and facade elements, etc.

Special new applications are also known:

In natural and coloured form it is used for producing decorative beads, hydrocultures or structured wallpapers. It is also becoming widely used in the plastic industry, in gardening and landscaping, in sewage technology, biotechnology and the car industry, in heat insulation and off-shore technology.
